The flexible anode is a titanium-based mixed metal oxide (MMO/Ti) linear anode coated with backfilled carbon powder and packaged in a soft sheath. The method of connecting and sealing the power cable with the MMO/Ti anode wire at a certain distance achieves the same purpose of cable release and transmission. The cable only plays the role of transmitting current, and the protective electric field is released through the MMO/Ti anode wire to form an auxiliary anode for composite cathodic protection.
